Sự thành công của Galaxy S10 thể hiện rõ nhất tại Trung Quốc, nơi mà Samsung tỏ ra lép vế trong nhiều năm trở lại đây trước sự cạnh tranh dữ dội đến từ các nhà sản xuất nội địa như Huawei, Xiaomi hay Vivo. Vào đâu tháng 5, theo báo cáo mới nhất từ Strategy Analytics, Samsung đã bán được khoảng 1 triệu smartphone tại Trung Quốc trong quý I/2019. Điều này đồng nghĩa với việc thị phần của Samsung tại thị trường smartphone Trung Quốc đã tăng lên mức 1,1%. Đây là lần đầu tiên kể từ tháng 3/2018, Samsung sở hữu hơn 1% thị phần tại thị trường Trung Quốc.
Tại đây, các phiên bản Galaxy S10 được xem là động lực tăng trưởng của Samsung. Theo thống kế trong 3 tháng đầu năm 2019, doanh số bán Galaxy S10 đã tăng từ 120 – 130% so với Galaxy S9 cùng kỳ năm ngoái.

Điều đáng nói là Counterpoint Research chưa tính doanh số bán Galaxy S10 5G bởi phiên bản này mới lên kệ vào đầu tháng 4. Phiên bản này cũng cho thấy những dấu hiệu hết sức tích cực. Theo thống kê sau 80 ngày bán ra (kể từ ngày 5/4), Galaxy S10 5G đã bán được 1 triệu chiếc tính riêng ở thị trường Hàn Quốc.
Thành công của Galaxy S10 đã giúp Samsung tăng thị phần trên thị trường smartphone lên mức 25%.
